FAM too harsh on FAS?

A friend told me the FAM disciplinary committee's decision to dock three points of Selangor was political.

Another friend defended the decision, insisting FA of Selangor can still appeal against the decision.

But what is the real issue here?

Was the Ian Rush clinic really national duty and compulsory?

Why was it held when teams were preparing for the FA Cup ties?

Why did the four players - Akmal Rizal Ahmad Rakhli, Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Safee Sali and Amirulhadi Zainal - walk out of the camp? Were they forced to do so against their will?

Fifa rules state it is not compulsory to release players for friendly matches scheduled on dates outside the co-ordinated international match calendar.

But due respect must be given to FAM for having conducted the clinic.

The mainstream media have launched an attack on the decision.

Ini anak menantu punya kerja laa. Dia orang ni kena faham sikit. Itu budak dah biasa dapat apa yang dia nak, bila dia nak. Jadi bila ada pulak yang melawan, jawab la. Kat arena politik dah kena balun, sekarang ni dia dok menyibuk kat arena sukan pulak.

dlm hal ni nampak sgt emosi dituruti dlm membuat keputusan...

player, fas n dollah memang bersalah...tp menjatuhkan hukuman potong 3 point tu tak logik...

nampaknya fam sekang dgn yg lama dah tak byk beza....

ingatkan byk lah perubahan yg akan dilakukan...tp lebih kurang je...

ntah ler....diorang mintak support local football...tp kalau ada sifat kurang elok mcm ni...mcm manalah org nak support...

letihlah mcm ni....

We have read and heard in abundance of FAM's screw-ups and follies that there's nothing much to be surprised about with the latest one. Thought with the new line-up "strengthened" by our "rising star" plying his trade at KJ (that's Kelana Jaya but of cos the initials are unmistakeable!!) FAM will get our football to rise from the dead. But it looks more like getting it dead and buried and soon! What a turn-off man! What's the rationale with the FAS' FAM? Left your brains someplace or something? Getting emotional? And politically at that maybe? Ahem! Dont la like that....

Anyway I need only reiterate a comment made by some people closer to the fraternity which said that it was moronic that FAS got points docked for focusing to the FA Cup. THE FA CUP?!?!?! The knock-out tourney got points maaa? Hallo FAM?? What nonsense is that? No wonder Screw-up suit FAM better than Super. Branding cun but execution fail la Tuan2..The FAM employed some morons to work on the schedules with no regards to the current competition that's underway. FAS at fault? Who benefit the the clinics more? Ian Rush? And who else? Ranked at 170 (lucky2 we are higher than Bhutan!!!) the likelihood of us going down down down rather than up up up is brighter la Tuan2 yg bijaksana. Honest. Hallo FAM? Tidor on the job? This is not TIDOLand mind you. And we need more than just a clinic la. Basically we need FAM to be CLEANED UP!! REFORMED! Maybe the FAS President shd just abort the Super-League and join the S-League down south. What's the point of supporting your Guardian when its existence is more to punish and not educate. For a start maybe a "Boycott CYC Drive" can heal the FAS a bit.. OK lah. Boycott CYC!!!hahahahaha
